- Jill Gunzel's Personal Non-medication RLS Treatment site
- This web site is written by Jill Gunzel, AKA the "RLS REBEL", an RLS sufferer for more than 40 years.
She offers her experiences, observations, theories, and non-medication treatments for RLS.
You can also order a copy of her new book, Restless Legs Syndrome: The
RLS Rebel's Survival Guide which has become available as of April,
2006 on her site.
- Talk About Sleep - This is a new site
devoted to all aspects of sleep including RLS and PLMD. Has lots of information and chat
groups.
- Ekbom Support Group - The Ekbom
Support Group was formed in the United Kingdom in 1988 by Mrs. Eileen
Gill and now has members in many parts of the world. There is a lot of information on RLS including a forum that you can join.

Frank Lewis web based page for research into RLS - This site is done
personally by Frank Lewis as an effort to use a web based survey to determine
the cause of RLS. He has a theory about RLS being muscle based and would
like to use this survey to help support this hypothesis. This survey is
not sponsored by any scientific or other organization. He is doing this
study on his own and has independently thought up his idea of what causes RLS
and how to use this web page survey to support his hypothesis.
- The We Move site has very
good information for both physicians and patients.
- Bandolier site - This is a new
British site that reviews studies done on various treatments for RLS.
- Johns Hopkins Center for RLS
- This site has information about RLS and research projects and opportunities
for subjects with RLS.
- National Sleep Foundation -
This site has a wealth of sleep information and an
RLS
article reviewed by Richard Allen, Ph.D. and Merrill M. Mitler, Ph.D.

Medifocus Guidebook on Restless Legs Syndrome- This
site has RLS information with abstracts (summaries of medical articles) on RLS
topics. Abstracts can be read and the articles can be downloaded for a
few through PubMed. You can access and review the new MediFocus
Guidebook on Restless Legs Syndrome at

RemedyFind is a free, unbiased site (not sponsored by drug companies etc.)
where individuals can rate the effectiveness of the Restless Legs Syndrome
treatments they have tried.

The RLS Foundation's chat room
bulletin board - This is run by the RLS Foundation as has some excellent
discussion groups about all aspect of RLS. It is a very active board with
lots of current posts.
The We
Move Discussion Forum - This is run by by the
We Move Website and is a fairly active
board.
RLS_Insomnia_Support_Group@yahoogroups.com -
This is a newer support group that is moderated and run by Donna
McLellan. It is quite active and has many members from the RLS Foundation's
website as regular visitors.
- Cyberspace RLS
(Restless Leg Syndrome) Support Group - Discussion list for RLS/PLMD
sufferers. Topics include treatments,
medications, alternative therapies and most of all....support from over 950
other RLS sufferers from all over the world. This support group has been very
effective for people that do not have a local RLS Support group in their
areas. It is now moderated by Donna McLellan.
- RLS_PLMD at
yahoogroups - This site is an e-mail list support group for people with very active or
severe restless legs syndrome and/or periodic limb movement disorder. RLS_PLMD at yahoogroups has been set up specifically for people that have
found no benefit from herbs, supplements, over-the-counter remedies or
do-it-yourself home treatments and would rather not deal with lots of e-mails
pertaining to their use. These topics are off-topic for this group. This
group is moderately active.

RLS/PLMD. It has a moderate amount of posts for RLS/PLMD. It also
has periodic chats about RLS/PLMD.
- Sleep Net - This
site has message boards for many sleep topics including RLS/PLMD with a
moderate amount of posts.
- HealthBoard.com - This site
has message boards for many health related problems including RLS. It
has moderate activity for RLS posts.
- Brain Talk Communities
- This site has forums for many neurological disorders including RLS.
The RLS discussion forum is mild to moderately active.
